GREEN EGG!! But OOPS...

Last week I was thrilled to find some tiny bantam eggs! Yesterday I noticed one of my Aracaunas was sitting in a nest. But then she laid her egg out in the pen and it was broken! But it was green! Yay! At least I know I have a chicken that lays green eggs...if only she learns to lay it in a nest!!

My two EE's just started laying too. Both lay green eggs but, like yours are not using the nest boxes. I have taken them to them when the eggs are in there from the others and still they have their favorite corner to lay in. I figured if they keep to the same spot it's not to bad.
