Wondering why our Plymouth Barred Rocks are laying green eggs? We also have one Plymouth White, 2 Pekins and 2 Rouen's- all females. Could it be their eggs? They just started laying about a week ago.

I just saw an old post on here where someone else's Barred Rock laid green eggs also.

Those green eggs are beautiful! I’d be thrilled. I only get different shades of brown from mine so far. But I’ve got a few blue & green egg layer chicks that I cannot wait until they are old enough to lay.

We’re starting to think the green eggs are from our young ducks... thoughts?
