Some people are just not egg people. You know you are an Egg Lover when you can appreciate that your eggs are coming from family owned farms with heritage hens laying fertile colorful eggs(from pink to olive, blue and everything in the middle).

Gene editing should be doable with those. Because their hybrid(Chicken Quail Hybrid) are sterile and will not lay eggs

I didn't think that that mix would even hatch. Cackle hatchery has a line of speckled eggers, I wonder if that's a good springing off point. Not that I have time, space or money to have a breeding project....

Green, I have my own blue eggers so that stunning green color is more unique to me. If I saw some at a store I would definitely buy them.

We raise Leghorns and Legbars and the white really makes the blues next to them POP. It's a nice, crisp combo with great production value.
