I have what I suspect is a light Brahma x Easter egger is it possible she is laying a green egg? I have 2 chickens that were given to me from a friend that are BYM but I could only get a picture of one. I’ve had them since about 3 weeks old and they are both very skittish. Thanks for any insight on this!

Sure, it's possible. But you'll have to stake out the nest box to know for sure. In any case, pretty bird and pretty egg basket!

I purchased 4 starlight green eggers about 6 weeks ago since I didn’t have green eggs and now I have a surprise green egg.
Maybe your starlight green eggers will lay different shades!

I use a camera pointed at the nest boxes to track which egg belongs to which chicken but I only have 11 laying so there's not too much to keep track of.

That’s a great idea, thanks! I have 22 laying but I know which 20 are laying which eggs. One of the BYM had her comb pecked off before I got her so I’m not sure if she’s laying or not but I will definitely give the camera a try
