The young man smiled and rubbed his nose affectionately. Once finished, he took out the saddle with the saddle pad under it and set it onto Evander's back, adjusting the cinch onto it accordingly. He attached the breastplate to his chest then to the saddle and slid the bridle onto his face, gently working the bit into his mouth. Dennis tied the reins to the saddle horn and took him out to the mounting block.

Dennis climbed the mounting block and hopped onto his trusty steed, unraveling the reins from the horn and adjusting his stirrups. Stephanie could be seen coming up to them on Hera, who was also ridden Western style. Once she caught up they headed for the trails.
