GREEN MEAT CHICKEN CARCASS???

we had our thanksgiving diner last night. we had one of our meat chickens instead of turkey

We noticed on the inside of the breast it was green

it looked like it was rotten but it didnt smell. Would this have anything to do with aging the meat before freezing?

I think there was a post with a simular case... just can't find it. sorry
 
it called green muscle disease. its necrotic tissue and you shouldn't eat it. its from the chicken overexerting itself to the point where the muscle actually dies, like freaking out and flapping really bad.
