hope you can find him some gals..

if you cant find him any true gals id at least give him some type of girls to keep him happy,
not sure what would be a good choice to pair him up with...(type-strain wise)..maybe pure melanistic girls if you cant come by the real thing at least the ring on the neck may stay out of his offspring..

ps..if you ever sell some eggs id like to get a few..(crosses and or pures from him and what ever gals you may give him..)

Thanks for
sharing

I also saw the conversation the other day concerning the green Pheasant. Just wanted to mention that even I was able to tell the first bird was not a true green. Just wanted to let you all know that the information goes places you might not realize and it does do a bit to help clean up such confusions. I personally have no concern either way but I do have that bit of knowledge if others are to ask. at least for a while anyway. I am still pretty sure I would not try to determine a Green is a green. But I do know that chances are not good But I have been able to tell with some certainty when they are not. Still they are all striking birds.
tysonb24, that is a nice bird. something in that red cheek and blue neck that just has an electric effect for me. Hope you find a female for him.

Thanks for the comments about my bird. I will be getting some chicks from a local breeder this spring. So, hopefully he will have some females next year for breeding.
