How long has she been on ACV? I find this tends to sour the crop if given too long. Maybe something to consider. How squishy is the crop? How big/round? Don't be a afraid to put a little pressure on it and see if you feel any hard clumps or is is watery squishy..do you feel grit, etc. This green stool very likely means no food is getting thru. The crop is the beginning of the digestive tract, which must work properly for food to digest in a chicken. She could have an underlying condition that is keeping her from eating as well. Any signs of eating since she's been inside?
Ladies fist is fairly large for a hen. I would find this acceptable just before bed from a hen who gorged all day and otherwise healthy. I would guess this is your problem, since she has green stools (indicating no food passage), her crop is not moving food. I am going to go with the person who recommended the massage. Try dipping some small bits of bread in olive oil and get her to eat it, then massage. Please keep us posted. And yes, keep her off food for tonight and just encourage fluids. IMO, acv is not necessary, but a good vitamin & electolyte mix is essential right now in her water.
sorry it took so long to get back to you guys but this morning I went out to the garage to check on my hen and she was laying there dead. I do thank each of you for your input you guys are all great thanks
