Hopefully you can match it up and it will be in the normal category. Good luck!

Thank you so much! This was very helpful.

Please let us know about your broody hen. I hope she's just got a nest somewhere and she'll come out from it today.

LOL thanks at least I know the poo is normal now...But our hen is still missing and from past experience I know she is gone for good. Made me sad, and I am just frustrated bec ause even though they have a nice run and hen house it makes me sad that everything eats chickens!!!! WE have major raccoon issues, and coyote and fox. We have woods so I am sure that is the problem...........so frustrating..

I was hoping it was normal. My girls always leave me a nice HUGE pile of green poo with the white coating every morning...and it smells. I guess I shouldn't complain because they usually do this outside in the run almost immediately after I let them out of the hen house, so I don't have to clean it out of the hen house. Thanks girls!

WEll she has not come back, and with our Rooster Romeo crowing and all the other hens out of the hen house I would have thought she would be here by now. I will say I am going to check again with one of our neighbors because about a month ago she had found eggs under her landscaping bush that were definitely seemed to be the same type of eggs our EE's lay, same size and color and 3 of our EE's went missing last year....wishful thinking.....because you would have thought someone would come across a stray chicken at some point? But I will hope for the best and pray she is hiding but she is still not home so not sure
