Green thing in silkies eye

Upon holding my silkie, ive noticed she has this, in/on her eye?

What could it be? Its not on the other side, and i noticed it today, though i didnt do a eye check yesterday. Its quite small. what should i do and what do you think it might be??

Cannyou take a QTip or tissue and try to get it out? It looks like dried secretions.

I had taken a damp Q tip (because i was worried the dry could irradiate her eye) and i wasnt able to, i think its more so on the inside, and just a bit is on the outside.

Do you have some saline eye wash that you can irrigate the eye with? You can also use clean warm water. Then try to remove whatever it is.

I think so, if not ill pick some up asap, we have a store that has it a few minutes away.

You could make your own, it’s so easy, 2c water and 2tsp salt, my baby chick had something like this and his eye is perfect and clear. Good luck and what a cutie
