these birds make awesome pets. great as a first time bird owner's pet. very loving to their owners. my son has owned one since he was 4yr old, they are great with gentle children, if your childis too rough, they could kill it so be aware of how your child treats animals. you will be interviewed to be sure this is the right pet for you.
