Greenish-yellow pus coming out of back of injured hens head.

My hen was attacked by a hawk about a week ago. We've been taking care of her, putting peroxide and Neosporin on the back of her head where she is wounded. It has scabbed up pretty nice and the skin is firm. But once in a while she scratches at it. Right now the skin is broken open in two tiny spots and greenish-yellow pus is coming out. I've still been applying peroxide and Neosporin to the affected area. Is there anything else someone can recommend that I should be doing. Thanks so much!

Can you post some photos?
When we can see it, hopefully we can help you better.

I would stop the Peroxide. If it needs to be flushed, use saline or chlorhexidine.

Here's a picture. It's the best one I could get. Hope this helps. Also herright eye has been shut since the attack. Is there any ointment I can put on her eye to help her open it?

That actually doesn’t look so bad to me. I would also stop the peroxide and neosporin. Those are only useful in first hours. Instead try some old remedies like hot compressses as she will permit, tea trea oil diluted in olive oil or coconut oil as a salve. Lavender would also be good. I imagine she will heal up ok if she’s made it this far! Good job :)

Then mention of green/yellow pus is concerning to me.
Do you have a Tractor Supply nearby?
I would start her on antibiotics to help fight infection. You can use Procaine Penicillin G (refrigerated section of TSC). Get some 20gauge needles and some small syringes too.
Dose for her I would give 1/4ml, injected into the breast muscle once daily for 5 days. Alternate sides each daily.

Keep putting on the Neosporin. It's hard to know, but if there is still pus, you may need to peel back the scab that the pus is under and clean that out really well. Flush with saline or chlorhexidine.

For the eye, you can try warm compresses and flush with saline to try to get it open. A photo of the eye would be good when you have time.
You can use Terramycin eye ointment or Vetericyn eye gel in the eye a couple of times a day.

I did a little more research, I decided I'm going to wash it out with a saline solution. I went to tractor supply tonight and purchased an aerosol spray can of blu-kote. A lot of people said that this works well. Going to give it a try tomorrow. Thanks for your input!

Sounds like a plan!
I hope she gets better soon, please keep us posted.

I put it the blu-kote on her yesterday and it already looks much better. Although she scraches at it once in a while and opens up her wound, it seems like it's healing better.

BluKote is good.
You may also need to put a little ointment on the edges of the scab to help keep them softer and not quite so itchy. Triple antibiotic ointment or maybe even a touch of vaseline after you apply the BluKote.
