Greens that quail eat?

I've placed leaf lettuce green onions and grass in there cages , only notice they get spread out or put in water bowl. They never touched the cherries however they did eat the mulberries.
Maybe I should feed them hot chiles to spice them up.

For the cherries, try splitting them open first, so that the soft, sweet , inside flesh is exposed. Rather than the smooth glossy outside.

Mine like romaine lettuce, watermelon, apples, cantaloupe, strawberries, grapes and honeydew melon.

Mine Are Redneck Birds, They Prefer Grass--- Plain Old Grass The Best, FolLowed By Raw Whole Green Beans From The Garden And Of Course Snap Peas.

That's what ours seem to likem the best - grass.

mine just seem to dust bathe in grass, but they love apples, watermellon, and that's it right now been debtating about giving them a bananna

If you want to freak out a buyer or two, feed your quail strawberries, i swear the quail eat like a 2 year old kid!! My wife checked my pen yesterday and came hollaring that something terrible was wrong with the quail and they were all bleeding around the beak and on some of the chests, i run over there wondering whats happening and after inspecting i busted up laughing, the quail sure love strawberries!!

Those little quail sure feed and grunt like pigs. lol
