Greetings from Mississippi . Very new to game chickens. Due to recent loss of family member , I’ve inherited a total of 42 hens and roosters (not to count the 13 bitties running everywhere……). These are the most beautiful chickens I’ve ever seen…. I’m trying to decide what to do with them and wanted to try and start with identification process of what breed , bloodline…?……etc. I look forward to learning and gaining knowledge from the tenured game fowl gurus . Thank you in advance for your insight to type , breed, bloodline etc… IMG_4067.jpeg IMG_4241.jpeg IMG_4266.jpeg

Thank you for your kind words. It’s very intimidating to say the least but I’ve kinda taken a liking to them. I sold my business and retired for the most part and have enjoyed raising world champion AQHA & APHA horses.
wow! 🤩 nice birds! my sympathy to you regarding your loss, you are doing a great kindness to your family member by caring for all the chickies.
welcome to BYC

Wow! You have beautiful horses, obviously since they are world champions, but I just had to say it 😁

I used to ride a lot, I had some QHs, POAs, TBs, and various unregistered horses. The only showing I did was in 4H, then I did some team penning with my uncle, lots of trail riding, and just running around doing fun things on horses.
