I have been raising chickens for just over a year now and just lost all but one of my hens to a neighbor's dog
So now I am starting new with three 11 month old comets, a game roo, a Dominique roo, 3 Buff Orpington pullets, though I'm pretty sure one is a roo, 3 Silver Lace Wyandot pullets, 2 Plymouth Rock Barred pullets, and 13 month old Ms Pepperpots, my surviving Barred hen. I am very excited to get to know you all and be able to "talk chicken" with others who do not get bored with the subject
Yes, I talk about my chickens all the time! I LOVE them!!! And I already have some questions about my new girls, so I am thankful to have found this group
Peace and Blessings!!!

Hope your neighbor has taken steps to control his dog and compensate for the chickens he killed. Otherwise it's up to you to keep them safe.
