My husband recently built coops and bought various kinds of chickens. We love our chickens. we have white lomans brown lomans black star and or fave Rhode Island Red and one Americana. My daughter loves the one little brown loman that survived the dog massacre. Where we had 17 chickens 5 being chicks and the rest 1-2 year layers. My husband went away for the weekend and he decided to kill most of our chickens. Only leaving us with 3 hen and 2 chicks. the one brown lomans we have left is Houdini is so tame and my daughters fave. We have since recovers our flock and are so happy with it. The lomans and black stars came with worms and mite. So we call them the riff taffy and don't let them play with the high class Rhode Island.
