Hello, I'm edenhenry. I have one Campine hen (she's in the picture) and her name is Connie. I'm getting her a new friend tommorow.

She sure is a pretty girl. Glad you are getting her a friend. THey really are flock creatures...and love like company. Just make sure you have a good sized coop...it always starts with a few...and the addiction is hard! I myself started with " 6 or 7, just for eggs for us" and now have about 50 or so.

I'll echo what others have said: I started with three, and now have 21. They're a constant source of amusement, companionship, and eggs.

My mom is a WWII bride from Australia, one of ten kids, so I have quite a few relatives "Down Under".
