Hey folks;

This is my first season raising chickens and I have been tearing-up the book stores and websites for information. By and far this site is the best website I have run across; from coop design to sneezing chicks, I’ve found it all here.
My wife and I have taken on a mixed flock of 6 Production Reds, 6 Black Australorps and 15 Cornish Cross. Now bear in mind that I had only planned on 10 chicks but when my wife came back from the feed store… poof! …27 chicks. Oh well such is life.

Well that’s it for now but I am sure that I will have tons of questions in the future.
