Greetings fellow bird lovers, and egg lovers

My flock consists of a Barred Rock Roo. I call him Twofeathers because he has two very prominent feathers sticking out from his tail that are much longer than the rest. His hens are, in order of age, Red {RIR}, Miss Minnie or Makawee is her Native American name. it means 'Mothering' (an Aracuana and my broodie girl. She hatched 5 chicks for me last season).
Then there is Lacy {Barred Cochin}, Lady {Blue Cochin}, Gertie {Aracuana), Zitkala {which means 'bird' in the Native American Dakota and she is an Aracuana}. And the three Red Stars that I can't really tell apart so I have not named them.
Then there are Tess and Meg but they are retired now and live separately in their own cozy hut so they don't have to fight for the food or get ravaged by Twofeathers.

Now I am off to gather info....

Always looking for coupons for chicken feed to help lower the cost. I feed mainly Purina Layena Pellets, Purina brand but i will use other comparable brands too. I like to keep the cost down as much as possible, as i am disabled and live n a below poverty income.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
