My wife and I have been discussing and researching getting chickens for over 3 years. We are finally beginning our journey. We got the first six members of our flock yesterday.

Great, what breeds did you get?

We got Black Sexlink pullets to get started with. Not sure whats next maybe Jersey's or Sussex. My daughter is type 1 diabetic so we eat allot of eggs, no carbs.
