Greetings from Alaska!

Welcome to BYC! Have you guys started to thaw out some for Spring yet? Would love to see some pics!
Thanks for joining our flock!
Thank you! Yes we have finally started to thaw. Above zero here in interior finally. Not sure how much snow we got during the winter but seems like about 3-4’ still on ground. Will get some pics to post soon.

Hahaha, no but I did visit once upon a time and got a really sweet Stetson. (Cowboy hat) I'm actually from Toronto, ON Canada :D
What kind of chickens do you have? I live off-grid which can be a real challenge with the chix during the winter. Sometimes 30-60 below for extended periods. How are your Toronto winters?

OMG, I'm so jealous! Alaska & off-grid! I have Red Sex Links. (Also heard them referred to as Red Stars) They seem pretty hardy, but we typically only see -30 C a few times a year. But with supplemental lighting, they laid close to an egg a day all winter. They are also fantastic foragers! No bug is safe! (Or too big it would seem) :drool
