So, I've actually been a member for a couple of days now. I've done some lurking and made a couple of posts. I live in Nenana, AK on a little 4 acre farm with my 8 year old daughter. We have all kinds of poultry - chickens, turkeys, ducks, guineas, geese, and quail; rabbits; goats; cavies (guinea pigs); and dogs. We raise our critters primarily for the products they give but also for exhibition. My daughter shows her animals in 4-H and we have a great time sharing this hobby. I recently purchased a Sportsman's Incubator and have been having a great time hatching out quail and chicks this spring. We have most of our show birds for the Fair. I just need to get in a few more eggs in a couple specific breeds and we'll be set.
