Thanks everyone for the warm wishes, we are planting some trees this weekend! How is everyone's chickens? any advice? Exactly what should I feed them. I was told by locals to feed them scratch , which I did but after reading it says not to! What exactly should I do and what do you recommend?

And yes, all chickens are mutts.

You should feed them Layer feed. Scratch is "chicken candy" and does not have enough nutrients.

Scratch also warms during digestion, which is BADBAD for chickens in the AZ summer.
