Welcome to BYC. My friend had two Serama hens years ago. Seramas have big personalities, in a small package. They took over the dog's bed, stole his toys and and ate food out of his bowl. Silkies and Seramas have little to no resistance to Marek's Disease.
She also had a silkie hen that was allowed outside because she didn't fly. Unfortunately she must have brought Marek's disease to the Seramas. All three birds perished a day apart.
The dog missed them badly and searched the house for them for days.
