my wife and I are new to raising chickens, but not to animals we have several large macaws and a jack russel. we want to add a goose to our crew at some point too. We were so glad to find this site it has helped us answer so many questions and given us so many ideas already.

I also have a macaw (a scarlet). What kind do you have? If you ever go to any of the bird fairs/expos around Florida, we probably have met!
 
Nice to meet you. We have a greenwing and a blue and gold. we only to go the bird fair in pensacola, neither of our birds are clipped
 
Beautiful birds! That's the only bird fair in Florida we don't do! We make and sell bird toys and go to shows/fairs in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
