Hi, I'm Susan and have had 5 chickens for about 5 months. 3 were a couple days old and the other 2 were adolescent chickens. They are all outside in a coop with a mister and pans of water (sometimes ice) to stay cool during our hot summer. I had no idea I would fall in love with these creatures! It turns out 1 may be a roo. Hes definately coocke-doodle-doing at sunrise, sundown and during the day too. I'm disappointed as we are not supposed to have roos here.

Advertise him! Take very pretty pictures of him. That makes a big difference in how quickly you can rehome him. I have rehomed 5 boys. It does say take some time.
