Hello! I am from central Illinois. I live out in the middle of nowhere with my husband.

While I don't actually have any chickens of my own, I have helped my mother with hers. Duck and geese are more suitable for me. I have 4 Rouens, 6 black runners, 5 black cayugas, 4 chinese geese, and recently added 2 guineas. We also have 2 Norwegian Elkhounds.

I really enjoy reading the posts on this forum. I've come across so many questions that I've had, but never asked or bothered to research. Keep up the good work!

We live just north of Peoria, but we are the only house on the road and on a typical day the mailman and one other car drive down my road. Quiet is an understatement.

Yep Elmira exists LOL!

I used to go to BHE East Campus from 84 to 86 and stayed in Brimfield until 1993. I loved it there but good memories left me a lifetime of lessons LOL!

All for the more reason I would love to live out in the country!
