Greetings from Las Vegas

I am a newbie backyard chicken farmer. We live in the big old city of Las Vegas. We have 3 chickens right now, one rooster and two hens. I'm a birth doula and unschool two sons who love to help with the birds, Dylan and Aiden.
I'm an amateur permaculturist and working on starting a garden in our yard. We've been composting and planting herbs so far. Raised beds from recycled, water damaged, oak floorboards are in progress for the fall/winter crop and nut and fruit trees soon.
