The email said to introduce myself, so here I am. I live in Maine with my fiancee and our two kids (4 yr girl and 9mo boy). We really want to get into raising our own chickens for eggs so I've been reading a ton on here the past few days, learning all I can. Figured it was time to say "Hi."

Sounds like you are starting off right. I did the same thing before getting my own first chickens. In fact I researched and read for over a year before I took the leap! Good luck and welcome!
