Welcome to BYC. I think your chickens will be fine in the cold, so long as you have a good, draft-free coop, and ventilation holes near its roof where moisture can escape. The other thing to think about is keeping the water from freezing. You can use an immersion heater to make things easy, or some waterers come heated. Otherwise, you'll be needing to change their water often. Good luck!
