i have been lurking around here for the last year and a half as i contemplated, acquired and replicated a small flock for my urban microfarm in chicago.
i have gardened and owned/raised critters all my long life, and was lucky enough to get an opportunity to retire to a microfarm. still not at the retirement part, but have a nice little patch of land that will make for a nice place to put my rocking chair, if nothing else.
