I informed my friend Gwena, our local (Chicken Lady) that Robin and I are ready to start raising chickens. I asked so many chicken care chicken questions that she directed me to this site. That is the best service she could possibly perform for me. She was very patient with me, never pointed out my ignorance, instead she let me discover it for myself by studying the wealth of information everyone here has compiled.
We have decided to house our flock in a tractor, which I am building from designs I found here. And we will start our flock in a few weeks. Looking forward to much exchange with our new family here @ BYC.
