Howdy! I am a new member from the piedmont area of North Carolina in the US.
I currently have two flocks - I have 19 adult hens, 1 adult roo, and two juvenile roos (hatching misadventure - currently trying to find a new home for them
). My first duck hen Spanky lives with them, as she was raised from one day old in the same coop and run, and has no interest in other ducks. My duck flock has 11 hens and 1 drake (Talbot), and they love spending their days playing in my creek.
I also have an adult call duck pair, and will be getting 3 day-old Toulouse goslings in mid-March. They will live with my duck flock and act as an extra bit of protection for the gang.
I look forward to reading about tips and tricks here, and meeting some fellow poultry enthusiasts!
