Hi Folks,
New to both the forum and to raising chickens

. We have 6 starters on order for early April and I will be here 'pecking' your brains(pun intended) for info. I have started the coop - building a 4x8 with access to the roosting boxes.
I have found lots of valuable info here so far and will continue to do so.

We have been feeding partridge for the last 4 years and they are quite tame. I wonder if they will stick around once the chickens are here?

I'm still working on the coop and need to have a major snow melt so I can finish the construction- I have the walls and floor built but weight wise I want to assemble in place, which will be out back of the house.

I'll go through all the posts / links before I ask a million questions. Tx Russ
