Thank you, I'm starting to look for solid DIY coop ideas, I've got a lot of reading to catch up on!!Welcome to the coop! I use the Forums and Articles tabs at the top of the page to do research. You can get lost for hours. It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies! I always check in the "What's New" section as well at the top of this page. This way I can read how I may have a similar question or help give some advice.
We do have eagles, but our main concern in our particular spot is hawks. We have a Cooper's Hawk and a Red-Tailed Hawk that patrol the area. The Cooper's Hawk takes song birds right off the feeders a couple of times per year.I’ve rehomed some of my hens and all of my roosters. These girls will be with me for the rest of their (hopefully long) lives. Love your set up! You can see my coop and run by clicking the “my coop” tab in my profile.
Here are a few pics of my girls.

Do you guys have a lot of eagles up there? We’ve got baldies and golden eagles down here. That’s why I have the camo netting set up over their favorite grassy area. We also have red-tailed, red-shouldered, Cooper’s, and sharp-shinned hawks as well as Great Horned Owls and more black vultures than you can shake a stick at!
