Hi! I have a small flock of 16 right now and I'm excited for my little hens to start laying.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
This is my first time owning chickens. I got my first chickens on April 7th, 2022, and recently got new baby chicks to add to the flock.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 16 chickens.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have 3 Barred Rocks, 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes, 3 Easter Eggers, 2 Blue Andalusians, 3 Black Jersey Giants, 2 Black Stars and 1 mystery chick I don't know the breed of.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love the distinct personalities of the different chickens
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like playing with my cats.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have cats and dogs.
