Greetings from Semmes, Alabama. I ordered my chicken coop kit last night from Horizon Structures. I have never raised chickens before but somehow got bitten by the "bug" and decided I wanted to try. The 3 to 5 weeks to receive the chicken coop seems like a long time. I am excited to become a chicken mommy I want to order 8-10 Easter Eggers from My Pet Chicken. My husband and I love our garden and working outdoors. This just seems natural to us. Can't wait to share photos and stories with you all.

! Great to have you here! You sound like a proud expectant parent! Not sure how big your coop is but the recommended size is 4 sq. ft./bird. For the run it is 10 sq. ft./bird. Best of luck to you and your new additions!
