Hello so after 5 months of reading and studying this awesome site. Here I am. Built a coop, bought chicks, learned some lessons, and my kids named em all.
Rooster (Brock) - Red New Hampshire
Hen (big mama)- Buff Orpington
Hen (Oreo) - Exchequer Leghorn
Hen (squirts) - Red New Hampshire
Hen (Soap) - Black Star
Hen (Misterio) - Blue Ameraucana
Hen (Sky)-Blue Maran
Hen (Red) - Rhode Island Red

And I still go here to find ideas and answers.
