Greetings from soggy, rainy Oregon!!!

Welcome Cedar.

I hear you on the wildlife issues. We tried to plan for it all to avoid the bad chicken stories.

White chickens might be OK down here this week.

Wow, I did not know BYC was so international. This is awesome to see. What breeds do you raise there in Ireland?

Cedar
We have members all over the world.

We've got pretty much the same breeds as the US and some extra. I've got a RIR, 3 colours Leghorns, a Bluebell, some Java X bantams and a Rock X.

Hello I have 2 friends from Adelaide, Australia. But one moved to Douglas (?) now? You might like to contact http://www.diggers.com.au/ for seeds too. Thanks for the welcome.

Yes, I found The Diggers Club online a few months ago and joined up. Very useful info and seeds that they test in very similar climate to what I have here. When I was last in Melbourne i went down to the Mornington Peninsula and visited their garden at Heronswood, it is just beautiful and it was springtime, so at its best. Think I got bitten a few more times by the gardening bug while i was there.
