Hello and welcome here! I haven't been on here long but I am getting loads of great information and super nice people.

Btw, I spent my summers in south Texas (Weimar) with my cousin, riding horses and rodeoing in Columbus, Schulenberg, Angelton, and every where in between. You guys have brutally hot summers but I so miss summers with my long gone Czech family.

It definitely gets hot! Thank God for the AC. Glad you got to have good memories in the area. It is beautiful and the weather is nice for most of the year. Looking forward to learning from the community here!
