I'm not a dirrect chicken owner, I bought two cochin for my father for father's day last year, and that didn't work out, (dog got them)... but this year he said he's doing it right. coop construction is a work in progress, and fourteen chickens of various breeds and ages complete the family quite nicely. already got some awesome advice from reading about coop construction, I tried some questions about sneezing on the emergency forum and the raising-baby-chicks forum about keeping all age groups together/seperate but didn't get a reply yet, but it's only been a couple weeks. So use of the sight is in full swing,

3. I suspect the Easter Egger (sold as Araucana) in the front is a boy. 4. The classic white Leghorn, on the way home from the feed store

5. The white-crested-black polish are really skiddish 6. bantam Silkie, very skidish this one. really cool skin and toes.

7. The big girls six-weekold, Rose the Road Island Red, 8. Olive the Barred Rock, 9. and Tulip, the ?, maybe a brown Leghorn, or an Easter Egger, chip-monk color baby.

10. The newest editions to the flock, Columbian Rock and a white-crested-blue polish... also pictured the white leghorn same as above.

They all are so fun to watch and raise, and thanks to BYC they're happy and healthy! Can't wait to read more, thanks to all that contribute to this forum.
