Welcome! grab a roost and perch for a while. There's always room for one more in the BYC coop!!!

Great folks from all walks of life, all chicken raising skill levels from beginners to old pros with just about every breed of bird you could think of! Great forums and threads and all sorts of topics, including some great social threads not necessarily directly related to poultry but just poultry lovers sharing another common interest.

Please never be afraid to ask a question or chat along with the rest of us. You will find we can be a very clucky flock!

BTW- you didn't mention what breed your new chicks were???? Oh and we always love pics!

Thanks, everybody. I'm not sure what breeds they are to tell the truth. I got them from a woman I used to work with and she said the little yellow one was an easter egger and I think she said the other two were orpingtons (or maybe barred rocks.) I get the impression though that she has several breeds and nobody is really chaperoning the poultry. Here is a picture. I'll try to post a better one soon.

Welcome to BYC!

So glad you could join our community! Yes, make yourself at home here on BYC and if you do have any questions, that is what we are here for.

If you can get better close ups of your birds, you can post their pics in our What Breed section for more help with the breeds...
