Hello, I'd like to introduce myself.
Call me Kami. I'm currently living in beautiful Virginia, having moved here from Michigan. I do not have any chickens yet.., I'd like to learn as much as I can before I purchase them in the spring (will order early, like something unique). Want to have a successful first foray into chicken parenthood. I've told my family it's for the eggs (wink-wink), but seriously I just want them as pets as they are so entertaining to watch. So 'egg'cited to find this community, followed a link off a coop plan from the Happy Chicken Coop, and fell into some amazing information here, and wanted to become a member.
Hobbies-cooking, baking, bead work, quilts, wood working
Pets-I have 2 house cats (rescues), who absolutely hate each other and am sharing a house with someone who has two dogs (rescues). There's hair everywhere!
