Hi, I am new here though I’ve reading the treads for months now. i started a new flock of 13 hens this spring. I haven’t had chickens since 1989 (oh! That gives away my age!) I have missed them and when my town said yes to backyard hens, I was ordering chicks faster then I could take a breath!
So here I am with 18 week old hens and waiting for those first eggs. I can go outside in the evening and listen to my girls talk and beg me for tidbits and pretend I’m still in a farm instead of a city.
