Hey Everyone!

Nice to find such a nice forum with a lovely community!

Unfortunately I do not own any chickens yet, but I am throwing my eye on an Incubator and hopefully going to raise my own! Just need to get an area and coop sorted for when they grow bigger, which hopefully wont cost a bomb and wont take too long

I love animals which I can thank for dear father for

, and I am in awe with the idea of self sufficiency, once again my dear father

. I live on a small farm, cattle, sheep.

Myself, Well I love surfing and swimming and yes the water here is VERY VERY cold!!

So here is to a bright 2012, with Chickens Galore, Success, Prosperity, Health and Happiness to one and all on here!!!

from Alabama. Glad you joined us. I have very limited experience with snow, so I'm not much help with that. But if you do a search, there are quite a few threads on here about chickens and snow.

Lots of good luck with incubating, but just to forewarn you - it's very addictive
