I am going to have approx 37 birds mix of hen layers to rooster ratio 10:1 hopefully . How long do I feed them chick starter food for ? And what food is next for them from what age to what age? I’m brand new to all this thank you

They can actually stay on Chick feed their entire lives actually. It's pretty much like an All Flock, or Flock Raiser feed, which is something you can put them all on. If you do, just provide oyster shells on the side in a separate feeder for a calcium source for the laying hens.

:goodpost: True this! Also don't forget to provide crushed granite grit in another separate vessel, for digestion. They do need chick grit to start on. You can start providing adult grit at about 6 months and they will choose what they need for themselves. Grit lasts a very long time but for as many birds as you plan to have, a 50# bag is probably a wise investment.
