I have been checking in on this site since March when I built a coop and bought my 6 Isa Brown girls. Those 6 girls were all I intended to have until I received a call from a young lady who had 7 full size chicks and 15 bantams that she could not keep due to sickness. I took them in and will be reconditioning an old dog house for them as they are out growing their space.
I have 3 Mille Fleur Bantam roosters and I would like to trade one for a young hen if there is someone in Southern Illinois is raising this breed.
Also, I have 3 Wynndotte Bantan roosters if anyone needs one.
I look forward to learning more and posting some pics to see if you all can help me with discovering the type of breeds of some white bantam chicks.

Thanks!

When you have 20 posts you can participate in the Buy,sell, trade forums on BYC. Until then go to "where am I, where are you," and post on your state thread. You will probably find several people in your area raising chickens and they can provide more detailed info regarding climate, type of coop, best place to buy feed chicks and so on. You could try your local Craig's list. Everybody has excess roosters so unless they are rare breeds or exceptional quality, I doubt they would be eager to trade hens to get one.

Hello and welcome....so glad you joined BYC

Good luck finding homes for your roosters and identifying your new ones
