I've had Sussex in my flock over the years and they are a wonderful breed. They are hardy, calm and friendly (my children, and now my granddaughter, made lap pets of them), and good layers of large, brown eggs. I like them so much that I've seriously considered getting some more of them. Good luck with your Sussex.
