'Grey' chickens, what are we? *updated with better pics*

I see blue Wyandottes myself. I see what appears to be a blue Wheaten Ameraucana rooster and a blue Wyandotte rooster in that bunch. Kills me to see them in that water. Chickens are just not waterfowl.

there are a few of the birds that dont like getting their feet wet....so they've abandoned ship and are climbing for higher ground


the silkies set sail on their homemade raft

turkeys are feeling a bit chicken and scramble to saftey on the roof

sadly a lot of the house are badly waterlogged...fingers crossed we can save them!

and this small stream is partly to blame..it burst its banks and flooded our property! (melting snow + heavy rain = chaos!)

Oh wow!! You've got floods in Germany? The sky is falling!!! and then sliding down mountains!

I don't know what the breeds are but I love the silkies rafting photo... so much.

but yeah we've got flooding here at the moment, some parts much worse than others (in the east its horrendous, not as bad as australia (nowhere near) but enough to cause serious damage and people drowning

lol, no problem, germanys our 'neighbour' so not too far away. we threw a water pump in the field today and slowly but surely its pumping the water away...its been in there for 5 hours and you can see a slight improvement, fingers crossed the rain stays away and by morning i can get back out there and start the big clean up of those chicken houses!!!
