Grey comb finger

I’m not totally sure if they are called fingers but that felt right. One of the fingers on my chickens comb has turned completely gray and white. I almost thought it was a piece of poop stuck up there for a moment. Wondering if this is some thing I need to be really alarmed about or what it might be!

It looks like it was injured somehow. Sometimes happens with frostbite, but I would expect it to affect more of the comb if it was that. May have caught it on fencing or something. The part that is black will likely fall off eventually. I would just leave it alone, it should be fine. Chickens lose parts of combs sometimes, and other than bleeding like crazy, they usually heal up and do just fine.
